Check the type of jury and the term shown on your summons. County reporting instructions can differ, and a general statement about one day of jury duty does not cover every juror. If you are selected for a trial or must return for continued selection, follow the judge’s schedule until your service is completed. State grand jury service has a different term from petit jury service. Use your county’s current reporting information and the instructions sent to you, rather than an old online notice for another county or an earlier reporting week.
