Start on NJDOL's unemployment website and choose Check Claim Status under If You Already Filed a Claim. That official link currently leads to unemployment.nj.gov/claim-status. Follow the sign-in prompts for your claim. NJDOL also directs claimants to their dashboard's Info Requests option to see whether more information is needed. Check the notices and instructions associated with your claim, including email and mail. If you cannot access the account or understand the requested action, use NJDOL's contact page. A status check alone does not establish eligibility or promise a payment date.
