Use NJDOL's official online application guide. New online applicants create an account, verify their email, and complete the claim application; existing users should follow the site's account link. Account email-verification links currently expire after 60 minutes. NJDOL dates a claim to the Sunday of the week you file. If you worked a full week and your last day was Friday or Saturday, its guidance says to wait until after Sunday to file. After applying, follow identity-verification and weekly-certification instructions, watch email and postal mail, and answer requests for more information. NJDOL decides whether you qualify.

What to do next

Open NJDOL's online application guide and follow Create an account or the existing-account route to submit your claim.
