Apply online through MyNJHelps, or download a paper application from NJ SNAP and deliver, mail or fax it to your County Social Service Agency. An NJHelps screening can help you explore programs, but it is not the application. After you submit, the county arranges a phone or in-person interview and asks for verification, such as identification and income information. You can upload documents through MyNJHelps. The state says to apply even if you do not yet have every document. Free SNAP Navigators can help with the application. Seniors and people with disabilities can also name an authorized representative to apply for them.
